Transcriptions include notes on recordings made by interviewer and transcriber Andrew Whitehead. The file also includes an introduction to the additional recordings written by Whitehead in May 2009. The interviews and transcripts were compiled as research by Whitehead for the BBC Radio 4 programme 'An Incident in Kashmir (2003) and his book 'A Mission in Kashmir' (Viking, 2007).
