Nighat Said Khan is a prominent Pakistani feminist, social activist, and academic. She is the Dean of the Institute of Women's Studies, Lahore, Pakistan. She has been involved in oral history and research into women and Partition. She was the founder of Women's Action Forum and Director of Applied Socio-Economic Research (ASR) Resource Center for Women, a socialist-feminist cultural organization. Khan is a member of the Pakistan-India People’s Forum for Peace and Democracy. She has been involved in oral history and research into women and Partition. |
