Admin history: Rear-Admiral (Retired) Satyindra Singh was born in Lahore in 1920. He was a naval Lieutenant in 1946 and was in Delhi in August 1947. He advanced to become a Rear Admiral. Singh later became a naval historian of the Indian Navy.
