Summary: These Nyishi men are sitting on a house porch and chanting during a ritual, probably a mithun bos frontalis, sacrifice : Both men wear the traditional hair style knot with skewer, and earrings metal rings hanging from wooden discs in the lobes, : the younger man, in front, wears a shawl that was not made locally : the older man, behind, is most likely a shaman : He wears the typical cane hat with hornbill beak and eagle hornbill or chicken, feather : He also holds a piece of bamboo, decorated by shaving one end, which is used to gesture while chanting : this event probably took place in the Nyishi village of Jorum, not far from the Apatani valley.
