Twelve months have elapsed since his arrival in the country of the Bechuanas; comments on the "present condition of the Bechuana converts" and the contrast to peoples encountered on his visit to the Interior; comments particularly on the progress made by the children in the infant school under Mrs Edwards; praises his predecessors in the mission field and speaks positively of the progress of the mission; states his intention to travel into the Interior once more to visit the peoples north of the Bamangwato [baNgwato] with the object of undertaking a preaching tour in addition to the acquisition of local dialects. |
