The majority of letters are signed by D Berman in his capacity as Honorary Secretary of Friends of Yiddish and/or on behalf of Abraham Stencl. The second file contains copies of letters sent by D Berman to the editor of the Jewish Chronicle giving news of the meetings and talks held by the Friends of Yiddish.
