G.S. Mackenzie to Sec. IBEA Co. Jackson's caravan failed to reach Izavo River due to scarcity of water. But confident that caravan will reach destination via Mr. Thomson's route. Next permanent station to be formed in Ulu Country - amoung friendly natives, the Wakamba. Trading centre to be in Ulu Country. [ ] European assistants needed, young, healthy, & used to handling natives. Must bring own furniture, etc.
