Admin history: Danial Latifi was born in 1917. He was the son of Sir Alma Latifi of the I.C.S. Latifi was educated at the University of Oxford and trained as a Barrister-at-Law at Gray's Inn, London. Latifi joined the Communist Party of India in around 1940, and the Punjab Muslim League in circa 1944. He drafted the 'Punjab Muslim League Manifesto' in 1944.
