Remains of a wall and hill top fort in Maharashtra
This is the 14th-century hill top fort of Daulatabad. In front stands the remains of a wall, protecting the town (with a minaret) behind it and the hill fort (now with a modern building). Such fortified hill towns were common in the Deccan.
