Entries made by a number of different individuals, including Gillingham. The diary includes business cards, notes, and invoices affixed to pages. It contains a handwritten list 'Objects for 1979 Exhibition on last page. Ruled paper. One page per day. Handwritten. 1 volume. Red cloth cover, with 'M. Gillingham' handwritten on inside front endpaper and 'dataday Diary 1978' printed on front cover. Diary also includes loose items (found inside cover), including a photocopied typescript list of 'Unsold items in the Mount Collection as at 10.4.78', listing John Sparks Ltd stock number (c.6-c.231) and value (£) only (2 pieces); a list 'K.N.S.L.' with handwritten list of objects (briefly described, no stock numbers) and their values (3 sheets); handwritten list of sales to Mallett and Son antiques dealers, date of sale, stock number, description and value (1 piece); a page from a notepad with handwritten list of objects (briefly described, no stock numbers) and their values (1 piece); a page from a notepad with handwritten list of objects (briefly described, no stock numbers) (1 piece); 2 photographs of a Chinese chest, decorated with bird motif.
