Rev Victor Arnold Barradale (b 1874) was a missionary with the London Missionary Society in Samoa, 1899-1903. He served as a Director of the LMS from 1908, and was Chairman of the Southern Committee, 1917-1922. In April 1919, he went to Samoa to convey the sympathy of the Directors to the Samoan Churches in the losses caused by influenza in the previous year. In 1925 he was appointed Foreign Secretary of the LMS. In 1926-1927 he visited the Society's missions in the South Seas and Papua, and also the Auxiliaries in Australia and New Zealand. He resigned his Foreign Secretaryship in 1929, although he continued his involvement with the Society's work. He died in 1947.
