Admin history: Rev Victor Arnold Barradale (b 1874) was a missionary with the London Missionary Society in Samoa, 1899-1903. He served as a Director of the LMS from 1908, and was Chairman of the Southern Committee, 1917-1922. In April 1919, he went to Samoa to convey the sympathy of the Directors to the Samoan Churches in the losses caused by influenza in the previous year.
