People include: Rev. [Alfred] Macfarlane; Dr Griffith John; Rev. [Charles] Sparham; Mr Peng Lan-Seng; teachers Mr Yang, Mrs Li, and Miss Li; [Samuel Evans] Meech, Alwyn Rees, and [William] Hopkyn Rees; [Lillie] Saville; Dr [Eliot] Curwen. Events featured include: opening of the LMS Chapel, Chanytha; Chinese Thanksgiving Service; the Siege of Peking.
