This is the introductory speech given by Romina Istratii at the Decolonisation in Praxis Conference that was held at SOAS University of London on 7 June 2018. The Conference was a student-led initiative funded by SOAS that brought together students, faculty and staff to discuss the salient issue of decolonising knowledge-making and sharing in British universities.
