Correspondence between Philip Hartog, Secretary of the Oriental Studies Commitee, and Lord Curzon of Keddleston regarding committee matters and proceedings. Includes draft reports on the proposed School of Oriental Languages in London (1913), and a draft copy of the proposed Charter of Incorporation (1913). The correspondence covers a wide range of subjects including received funding and appeals, negotiations with the London Institution over the School's proposed occupation of the Finsbury Circus building and purchase of South Place Chapel, dealings with the Office of Works about renovating the London Institution building in Finsbury Circus, and accomodating the India Office Library at the School of Oriental Studies.
