Admin history: The remit of Heads of Departments Committee was to advise Academic Board on all matters relating to policy, regulations and organisation; to oversee the operation of the academic affairs of the School; and to review the resources available for the implementation of educational policy. It met for the first time as a standing committee of Academic Board on 10 November 1933. The Committee was abolished in 2002. The last meeting was 11 June 2002.
