Admin history: The Academic Organisation Committee was set up with the purpose of applying to the University of London for the admission of the School as a School of the Universitiy and to communicate with the University in regards to the first appointments of teaching staff. The Academic Organisation Committee was set up in 1916 and had its last meeting on 25 June 1917. The Academic Board had its first meeting on the 2 October 1917. The Academic Board reported directly to the Governing Body.
