Summary: Miscellaneous materials relating to the Rev William Murray, English Presbyterian missionary in Singapore from 1902 to 1935, including various testimonials about his early career, an artcle about him published in "The Durham County Advertiser" in May 1926, 3 photographs taken at the christening of William Charles Dowland Thorne in 1935, a draft obituary for Sir Song Ong Siang (d. 1941), draft letters sent by Murray, materials relating to The Straits Chinese Reading Club run by Murray and to his Communicants' Class, and other items. Also, copy of memorial address given by S.W. Carruthers at his funeral in 1946 and an appreciation of him printed in "Our Work Overseas" on his retirement in May 1936.
