Summary: The Home class contains photographs associated with the administration of the English Presbyterian Mission in England. Material has been sorted into manageable units of related photographs and arranged chronologically as far as possible, although individual files cover large date ranges. The class includes photographs previously found in PCE boxes 93, 109, 112, 113, and 114 (Series I and Series I additional). Photographs include non-missionary PCE ministers and members of the Home Organization (Foreign Missions conveners, secretaries, Women's Missionary Association officials, etc.), as well as unidentified individuals who cannot be assigned to a particular mission field (where portraits of missionaries have usually been placed). There is also a file containing photographs of various gatherings of missionaries in England and one of miscellaneous material, some of which relates to England, some of which cannot be assigned to a particular field because of insufficient information.
Extent: 1 box containing 62 images
Note: Some of the prints are later copies of earlier photographs. Duplicates for a small number of these photographs can be found with the PCE Duplicates. They are generally in fairly good condition, though some have cracks and tears in them. Small spots have also appeared on some of the ?albumen prints.
