scb_admin_history Francis Leo Leeson was born in 1926. He enlisted in the British Army around 1944. He served as a Khassadar in the North West Frontier Province tribal agency of South Waziristan, c 1944-1947. Leeson later travelled across South Asia on behalf of the 'National Geographic' publication. He worked later in insurance.
