S. K. Bhattacharjee, a police officer with the Calcutta Police from circa 1939. He was involved in processing surrendered Indian National Army units in Burma following World War Two. In 1946 he was a sub-inspector based in Lal Bazaar, the Calcutta Police headquarters. Bhattacharjee retired as an Assistant Commissioner. |
