Admin history: Begum Aizaz Rasul was born in 1909 in Lahore. Her grandfather was the Nawab of Malar Kotla in Punjab. She married into a UP Nawab family. She was elected to UP upper house in 1937. She joined the Muslim League in early 1940s and was a Muslim League member of India's Constituent Assembly. She later became active in the Congress Party. She was a member of a state or central legislature between 1937 and 1990.
