note Martha Saul, née Medhurst, was known affectionately as Toddles. She was married to Robert Powell Saul, a merchant.
Thomas Chisholme Antsey served as Attorney General of Hong Kong from 1855-1859. He was one of the first Roman Catholic parliamentarians of the nineteenth century and wrote legal and political pamphlets on topics particularly relevant to Roman Catholics. Antsey left Hong Kong after a falling out with Governor Sir John Bowring.
