Florrie Sheath, who was a teenager at the time, was sending Rev Withers Green copies of the Children's Newspaper each week, which he made available to the Chinese boys at his School. Enclosures with the letters include: London Missionary Society Forward Movement Campaign, A Memorandum from the Central China District Committee, July 1925; miniature image of a Chinese lady made from fabric and paper; Christmas card, and booklet entitled 'Views of Griffith John College, Hankow', containing photographs with captions (in English and Chinese). |
