Summary: Diary of Doris Sandilands in two sections. The first section describes the initial journey of Alexander and Doris Sandilands from Serowe, Bechuanaland [Botswana] to their mission station at Maun, Bechuanaland in May-June 1927. A later section describes a journey by the Sandilands in January-May 1928 from Maun to Livingstone, Northern Rhodesia [Zambia], and then by train to Bulawayo and onward to "T.K." [Tiger Kloof], where Alexander Sandilands took an exam and attended a "D.C." [South Africa District Committee?] meeting. This is followed by an account (apparently incomplete) of the return journey.
