Letters in English are treated with suspicion and even some of his letters in Chinese are opened by the authorities. Pearl been unwell - arthritis and headaches. Friend of hers one of the many 'volunteers' for expansion and development in Ulan Bator [Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia]. He is in good health and has been attending services at both Chinese and Englsih Methodist churches in Kowloon. J E Sandbach on furlough currently but been doing very good work here.
