Admin history: Rev William James Platt (1893-1993) served the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society as a missionary in Dahomey [Benin] from 1916 to 1924 and in their French West Africa District from 1924 to 1930. Rev Dr Paul Ellingworth (1931-) served as a Methodist Missionary Society missionary in their Dahomey Togo District from 1957 to 1961 & Cameroun from 1964 to 1967.
