Admin history: Rev William Webb (d.1852) served as a Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society missionary in their Friendly Islands District from 1839 until 1852. Mr Joseph Blake (1791-1869) was instrumental in the creation of the Juvenile Home and Foreign Missionary Society (later the Juvenile Missionary Association) and fund raising efforts through children (for further details see his entry in Special Series/Biographical/Home).
