Admin history: Rt Rev Norman Carr Sargant (1909-1982) served as a Methodist Missionary Society missionary and later Bishop of the Church of South India in Mysore from 1931 until 1972. Rev Henry Premaka (1850-1922) served the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society in their Mysore District, India, from 1886.
