The maps are arranged according to the book chapters headings: Historical maps; District maps; Caspian Sea and its Persian Shores; Persian Gulf, Persian Shoes and Islands; Route maps; Town maps, historical sites; Political, transport/communication and tribal maps; Natural topographical and geological maps then by the reference number given in the book. Note that there are no Frontier maps in the collection.
