Cave monastery and sculpture at Ellora
This is the columned porch of one of the many monasteries cut out of the rock face at Ellora near Aurangabad. These caves and their religious monuments were created by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains over several centuries, from about 600 to 1000 AD.
