HIndu cave temple at Ellora

This is the famous Kailasa temple, with its tall pillar, carved out of rock in one of the many caves at Ellora near Aurangabad. These caves and their religious monuments were created by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains over several centuries, from about 600 to 1000 AD.
