Folk musical instrument in Karnataka

This folk musical instrument consists of four strings over a gourd resonator played with a bow, to which small bells are attached. Christoph von Furer-Haimendorf identified the musicians as 'untouchables,' which suggests that they are Mahars or Mangs.
