Portrait of a Chenchu man

This is a young Chenchu man in the plains, where most Chenchus were living in or near Telugu villages in the 1940s. These 'village' Chenchus, as opposed to 'forest Chenchus,' assimilated into local Telugu culture. Still, this man wears his hair long, like most Chenchu men.
