Summary: The older woman is Gengi of the Tokal clan. The younger woman, breastfeeding a child, wears her upper garment in the typical Chenchu style, with the ends tied in the centre. This Chenchu house is in one of several temporay settlements, sometimes built in the forest to shelter from the heat and sometimes in permanent settlements for widows. Less complex than the houses in permanent settlements, this kind of temporary grass-hut can be built in two hours. It lacks a central pole and consists of grass thatch thrown over a conical structure of sticks.
