Water buffaloes grazing on Chenchu land

While most Chenchus living on the Amrabad Plateau as hunter-gatherers owned only dogs, a few families kept a small number of cattle such as these buffaloes. Chenchus raised them for their milk and for sale, and did not eat their meat, as they had adopted local Hindu customs.
