Summary: This Nyishi settlement is probably Jorum, only a day's walk from the Apatani valley : the longhouse in the centre, extending along the ridge, with a vertical orientation, may belong to Jorum Kamin, whom Christoph von Fürer-Haimendorf visited on his trip from Assam to the Apatani valley, in autumn 1944 : Jorum Kamin's house, with 8 hearths, was one of the largest that Fürer-Haimendorf had seen : On the left we see the shell of what looks like an equally large longhouse, with floors and roof structure but no walls.
