Portable throne of the Ang of Sangnu (Image number E.047, J.P. Mills Photographic Collection)
This portable throne, on which the Ang (king) alone may sit, is one of two seen by Hutton and Mills at Shangyu, and is carved out of a single piece of wood. Beside it is a small carving of a man, smoking a pipe and riding on an elephant.
