Summary: Thebong and his brother, sons of the Gaonbura of Wangla. Two young warriors dressed in their finery. Their hair is tied in a knot behind, with broad wooden hairpins thrust through it. They wear many bead necklaces and chest ornaments of brass, imitating cut conch shell, indicating their head-taking status. They carry baskets on the left hip, possibly head-takers' baskets. The man on the left carries his dao. Their richly patterned and fringed loin cloths reach to below the knee, one being decorated with two brass discs.
