Cemetary for the skulls of deceased men at Angpang (Image number B.018, J.P. Mills Photographic Collection)

When a man of the village dies, his skull, after a few days, is removed from the body, cleaned and put into an urn with a flat stone covering it, as shown in this image. This is placed beside a path, and for three years afterwards offerings of food and drink are made to it on feast days.
