Untitled, 1936 November 22 (Image Y.17 : J.P. Mills Photographic Collection)
Sepoys of the Assam Rifles occupying Yimpang, a village which had never before seen a white man. Hanging from the head tree were five heads taken from Saochu, on a raid when slaves were also taken. Because of this, Mills confiscated the heads and they are now in the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford.
