Shipirr (Thachumi) (Image number A.32 : J.P. Mills Photographic Collection)

Mode of keeping heads. The heads are displayed on bamboo poles; sometimes gourds are substituted for heads. The horizontal pieces are known as "horns of increase", presumably to further increase the fertility which is thought to come from the head.
