Summary: Konyak. She wears the typical brief wrap skirt of the Konyak and her head is shaved in stripes running from front to back. She is standing on the sitting-out place of her house, a platform made of bamboo and raised several feet above ground level. Similar structures belonging to neighbouring houses may be seen behind. They are used for socialising and as a place for doing household chores, as the houses are windowless and extremely dark inside.
