This triptych, issued in about 1794, depicts Kabuki actor prints by Katsukawa Shun’ei (1762-1819), who can be identified by the crests on their costumes and characteristic facial depiction (right to left): Segawa Kikunojō III, Yoshizawa Ayame IV and Sawamura Sōjurō.
