Also extensive correspondence with and about Holt's interests especially Conference difficulties and Straits Pool Agreements, Ocean Steamship Company organisation and management, and Shipping problems. From July - December 1891 John Samuel Swire again visited the East, London correspondence being handled by Gamwell and Scott in his absence.
