Visitors' book of John Sparks Limited, dealer in Chinese art (London), which was later and predominantly used by Alistair Sampson Limited, art dealers (London). Handwritten inscription on front endpaper states 'John Sparks Limited / 1989 / Alistair Sampson Ltd'. Book used to record visitors to exhibitions held at the 128 Mount Street gallery (occupied first by Sparks and afterwards by Alistair Sampson Ltd) and at external antiques fairs. Covers: October 1989-November 1998. Records date of visit, name of visitor and address of visitor. Exhibitions named: '120 Mount Street'; '29 March New York'; '26th June, 1996. Mount Street Party'; 'East Side Show New York 1997'; '1997 Tradition of Collecting Jun 1997'; 'Mount Street Party - 26 June 1997'; 'The Kunstkammer Exhibition December 1997'; and '"Kunstkammer" II November 1998'. Ruled paper. Handwritten. 1 volume. Bound. Black leather covers.
