Entries in the daybook record the stock number of goods supplied , , date of invoice, name of client account, brief description of goods supplied or services vended, page number for client account in Sales ledger in which invoice posted , value of individual invoice (£-s-d), and total value of invoices (£-s-d). Invoice entries are arranged chronologically in the daybook by date, with a running total of invoices for each month at bottom of page (£-s-d). Daybook also records 'Credits' posted to international client accounts by John Sparks Ltd for goods returned to the company, , May 1973-March 1980 (pp. 497-500A). Credit entries record: stock number of returned goods, date credit issued, name of client account, brief description of returned goods, page number for client account in Sales ledger in which credit posted , and value of credit (£-s-d). Credit entries arranged in reverse order by date, with running total of credit for each month at bottom of each page (£-s-d). Ruled paper.
