| Admin history: | Sultanpur (a district and a town in Oudh) Miss Ella Luce, who joined ZBMM in 1888 as an honorary missionary, opened a school for the orphans and daughters of poor Christians, and they were taught up to the sixth standard. She herself was largely responsible for financing this work. She retired in 1922, after 32 years’ work, and was honoured with the Kaisar-i-Hind medal that year. |
