Records relating to Khurja (1898-1950) are under Bulandshahr as they are so inter-linked.
|
Admin history: |
(in Bulandshahr district) Mrs Pollen and Qulsam Begum were working in Bulandshahr, 11 miles away. In 1894, they placed a Biblewoman and her husband in Khurja. This couple began a morning school and opened a dispensary. Many lower caste families came forward for baptism, having been attracted by the care and concern of Christians for the out-caste population. Thus, Khurja was a centre in the mass movement. |
