scb_admin_history Work here with European missionaries began in 1891. In 1908, Miss Mary Warburton Booth began working to secure the welfare of children, and she developed “The Nurseries” near her bungalow; these were women’s and children’s quarters. The property belonged to her, and ZBMM did not own property at Gorakhpur.
